Camping Stoves: All The Convenience Of Home
I fondly recall the long days at the campground with my parents, brothers and sisters. We would set up our tent at the local campgrounds and settle into our wilderness routine. A cooler completely packed with beer, pop, and junk food would last us all weekend.
Over the weekend we survived on our store of doughnuts and hotdogs, because preparing food over a fire was more work than we cared to do. To young children this seems like a good idea initially, but ultimately the excitement of toasting hotdogs over a fire while being consumed by mosquitoes grows old. By the final day the doughnuts are hard and a breakfast of bacon and eggs would appeal to the fussiest of kids.
Most of the RV's you find in the campgrounds today are complete with all the luxurious of modern life. Things such as fully equipped kitchens, DVD players, large beds and air conditioning are now the norm. Camping is now a way to relax in luxury, although you can still rough it as they did in days of old if you prefer.
You can still enjoy life's comforts and sleep soundly, even when tent camping. You don't need an expensive RV to be comfortable in the woods. Including an air mattresses and a camp stove make sure that you wake up without a back ache eat like a king.
For me, camping means hauling a cooler loaded with our family's favorite camping foods such as hot dogs, burgers, potatoes, and just about anything else that can be pre-cooked from home. Modern camping stoves make cooking around the camp about as simple and easy as it is from home. These stoves are available in numerous sizes, styles and models to affordably fit almost any lifestyle.
One of my camping stoves has a grill and two burners, grills a steak to perfection and is portable and makes my life a lot easier when at the campground trying to feed a picky group of kids, although they do still love to put the wieners on the end of a stick and hold them over the fire until they char broiled, a nice hamburger or a few chicken nuggets still makes for an easier weekend.
I have such fond memories of camping with my family as a child. But the food left something to be desired, because cooking on a campfire was difficult. Do you want an authentic camping experience, but still enjoy the comforts of home? Cooking outdoors is now a lot easier with a camp stove. They are available in numerous sizes, styles, and models to affordably fit almost any lifestyle. Of the many camping stoves, one of my favorites has a grill and two burners. It's portable and grills a steak to perfection. It easily cooks hamburgers or even chicken nuggets, and you still get to enjoy the great outdoors.
